Zusammenfassung
Der Artikel diskutiert anhand qualitativer Interviews die Identifikation Türkeistämmiger in Deutschland. Die Befunde zeigen, dass zwei Dimensionen, eine kognitive und eine affektive, zu unterscheiden sind. Neben Deutschland und der Türkei fungieren auch lokale und supranationale Einheiten als Bezugspunkte. Zudem ist die Salienz der ethnischen Herkunft wichtig für die Identitätsformation. Der Artikel schließt mit der Spezifikation von drei relevanten Kontexten, die bei der Erhebung identifikativer Integration berücksichtigt werden müssen.
