Zusammenfassung

Unter dem Begriff Aortenaneurysma versteht man eine permanente, umschriebene Erweiterung der Aorta auf einen mindestens 50 %igen Zuwachs des Durchmessers im Vergleich zum erwarteten normalen Durchmesser der Aorta (Johnston et al. 1991; Hiratzka et al. 2010).
