Zusammenfassung
“Es gibt eine Gruppe weitläufiger Einflüsse von außen, über die eine Organisation keine oder nur wenig Kontrolle hat: so z.B. natürliche Umgebung, historische Geschehnisse, welche die Gesellschaft, in der die Organisation besteht, geformt haben, und soziokulturelle Kräfte. Gesellschaftliche Werte beziehen sich auf die vorherrschenden Ansichten und Werte der Gesellschaft im Ganzen: Werte wie Freiheit des Individuums, moralische Orientierungen über Gut und Böse und die philosophischen Ansichten einer Gesellschaft. So sind z.B. in den USA “Kapitalismus” und “freier Markt” fundamentale Wertthemen. (Tosi, Rizzo & Carroll, 1986, S. 66; Übers. d. Verf.).
