About the editors
Ladislav Hofreiter, professor in the field of National and International Security. His work is focused on tasks of security science and security management theory. He worked at the Andrzej Frycz Modrzewski Krakow Academy (Poland) and at the Faculty of Security Engineering of the University of Žilina (Slovakia). He is a member of Scientific Council European Association of Security and a member of the Commission for Assessing the Qualifications of Security Specialists, EAS.
Viacheslav BEREZUTSKYI, Sc.D., Professor, head of Department of Labour and Environment Protection, National Technical University "Kharkov Polytechnic Institute". He is a member of the Commission of the Ministry of Education of Civil Protection, Ukraine; Deputy Chairman of Scientific Council European Association for Security; Head of the Commission for Assessing the Qualifications of Security Specialists EAS.
Lucia Figuli, Ph.D. is a Deputy head of Department of Technical Sciences and Informatics of Faculty of Security Engineering at University of Žilina (Slovakia). She was a member of the NATO Science for Peace and Security Programme´s Independent Scientific Evaluation Group for the period 2016 – 2018. She deals in her research activities with the protection of strucrures and people again the effect of the blast wave from the explosions.
Zuzana Zvaková, Ph.D. is a lecturer at the Department of Security Management of Faculty of Security engineering at University of Žilina (Slovakia). Her research activity is focused on the issue of the effects of an explosion of IEDs on persons and objects, parameters and propagation of blast wave and on the area of security services.
