Zusammenfassung

Wirbelsäulenverletzungen sind häufig mit schweren Begleitverletzungen kombiniert und damit potenziell lebensbedrohlich. Sie werden im Rahmen des modernen Schockraum-Managements mit Ganzkörper-CT heute bei mehr als 40% der Patienten gefunden. Hoch instabile Verletzungen müssen zur Sicherstellung einer Intensivtherapie stabilisiert werden und bilden hinsichtlich zeitlicher Planung und Verfahrenswahl eine Herausforderung.
