Zusammenfassung
Gesundheitsbezogene Kompetenzen spielen für die Bewegungsförderung in Gesundheitsförderung, Prävention, Therapie und Rehabilitation eine wichtige Rolle. In diesem Beitrag wird ein bereichsspezifisches Modell der bewegungsbezogenen Gesundheitskompetenz vorgestellt, das in der Schnittmenge von Health Literacy und Physical Literacy verortet wird. Aufbauend auf einer Darstellung von Erhebungsverfahren, die im Kontext des Modells zur bewegungsbezogenen Gesundheitskompetenz entwickelt bzw. eingesetzt wurden, werden im Überblick empirische Erkenntnisse über Zusammenhänge zwischen bewegungsbezogener Gesundheitskompetenz, körperlichen und sportlichen Aktivitäten sowie Gesundheitsmerkmalen dargestellt. Mit Blick auf die Kompetenzförderung werden praktische Konsequenzen und bisherige Interventionsstudien skizziert. Abschließend werden Implikationen für die Gesundheitsforschung sowie für die verschiedenen Anwendungsfelder von Bewegungsinterventionen formuliert.
