Zusammenfassung
Die zunehmende Heterogenität von Mitarbeitenden stellt Organisationen vor die Herausforderung, diese Vielfalt gewinnbringend zu managen. Das Diversity Management (DiM) ist ein unternehmerischer Ansatz zur gezielten Steuerung und Nutzung des vielfältigen Humankapitals. Dieses Kapitel bietet eine begriffliche Klärung des DiM Konzepts aus organisationspsychologischer Perspektive sowie eine Übersicht der Motive zur Einführung von DiM. Außerdem werden zwei Ansätze zum Umgang mit DiM vor dem Hintergrund aktueller Forschungsergebnisse kritisch reflektiert. Das Kapitel schließt mit Empfehlungen zur erfolgreichen Gestaltung des DiMs in Organisationen.
