Zusammenfassung
Interkulturelle und globale Erfahrungen gehen mit einem mehr oder weniger stark erlebten Stressempfinden einher. Der Beitrag konsolidiert Erkenntnisse der interkulturellen Kompetenzforschung und identifiziert relevante Fähigkeiten und Coping-Mechanismen für Migranten und Expatriates. Zudem werden Kontextvariablen diskutiert, die die Akkulturationsprozesse auf der individuellen Ebene maßgeblich beeinflussen (können).
