Zusammenfassung
Since organizational education is a new subdiscipline, the following points need to be clarified. First, it has to be explained why the existing educational subdisciplines do not sufficiently cover the educational practice which is focused on by organizational education. Secondly, it has to be justified why, in addition to organizational sociology, organizational psychology and organizational theories of management science, there is the need of another (sub)discipline, which from an educationalist perspective examines not only educational organizations but also non-educational organizations. These challenges are taken as reason to change the term Bildung – which is constituent for German educational science – from the paradigm of the philosophy of consciousness to the paradigm of the philosophy of language (Koller 1999). Thus the educational aspect of both educational organizations and non-educational organizations is centered by the Bildungs-theoretical foundation of organizational education.
