Zusammenfassung

Die häufigste Erkrankung des Magens bei Kindern ist die durch Helicobacter pylori (H.p.) hervorgerufene Gastritis. Magenulzera können sich in der Folge entwickeln. Die Duodenalatresie des Neugeborenen stellt einen akuten Notfall dar, der durch die radiologische Untersuchung schnell diagnostiziert werden kann. Duodenalstenosen können auch noch im Säuglingsalter gefunden werden. Nichtinfektiöse Gastritis und Magenulzera können durch Medikamente (nichtsteroidale Antiphlogistika) oder schwere Stresssituationen hervorgerufen werden, sowie bei anderen Krankheiten (Gastrinom, eosinophiler Gastroenteropathie, systemischer Mastozytose, Leberzirrhose, Morbus Behçet, Morbus Crohn oder chronischer Nieren- oder Lungeninsuffizienz) gefunden werden. Unter den Motilitätsstörungen des Magens ist die infantile Pylorushypertrophie am häufigsten. Eine beschleunigte Magenentleerung wird beim Dumping-Syndrom beobachtet. Ebenfalls häufig ist das zyklische Erbrechen bei Kindern. Fehlbildungen des Magens sind sehr viel seltener als Duodenalfehlbildungen. Liegt keine komplette Obstruktion vor, machen sich die klinischen Symptome zum Teil erst jenseits des Säuglingsalters bemerkbar.
