Abstract
The main interest of chases and escapes, or pursuit and evasion, is to obtain thepursuit curve of the chaser(s) and it has a long history [32]. It is said that the original formulation of the problem dates back to Leonardo da Vinci, who considered a cat-chasing-a-mouse problem.
