Leitgedanken zu Kap. 4
Ohne aktive Unterstützung durch das Topmanagement ist kein transformativer Wandel möglich. Anstöße zur Erneuerung können aber auch von anderen Personenkreisen kommen. Die Rolle des Topmanagement als Enabler und Legitimator des Wandels bleibt davon unberührt, aber Initiativen von unterhalb erfordern ein Umdenken der Führungskräfte. Gleichzeitig sind mittlere und untere Führungsebenen zu sensibilisieren und zu schulen, welche Führungsrollen im Verständnis einer Leadership in Change notwendig sind. Die inhaltliche Führung eines Wandlungsprogramms ist unabhängig von der hierarchischen Position möglich. Dies entlastet einerseits das Topmanagement, andererseits wächst die Herausforderung, ein von verschiedenen Initiativen auf verschiedenen Ebenen geführtes Unternehmen auf einem einheitlichen Kurs zu halten.
In diesem Kapitel wird das Wechselspiel der verschiedenen Führungsrollen im Wandel analysiert. Die spezifischen Herausforderungen werden aufgezeigt und die Anforderungsprofile an Leadership in Change abgeleitet. Daraus resultieren Schnittstellen sowohl zu Mitarbeitern als Objekten und Initiatoren des Wandels (vgl. Kap. 5) als auch zu Projekt- und Programm-Management (vgl. Kap. 6).
