Zusammenfassung
Was muss eine Führungskraft können? Jeder Chef und jede Chefin hat sich gegen Konkurrenz durchgesetzt und hohe Fachkompetenz bewiesen. Diese Fähigkeiten haben dabei geholfen aufzusteigen. Doch in der Rolle der Führungskraft sind neue Kompetenzen gefordert: Mitarbeitende müssen motiviert und inspiriert werden, um die beste Leistung zu bringen. Im Kapitel Führung werden deshalb theoretische Ansätze vorgestellt, die unterschiedliche Einflussfaktoren auf den Führungserfolg in den Mittelpunkt stellen. Diese reichen von Persönlichkeitseigenschaften und Verhaltensweisen der Führungskräfte über situative Bedingungen im Arbeitsalltag bis hin zu Interaktionsansätzen. Zudem wird zusätzlich ein Einblick in den Arbeitsalltag von Führungskräften gegeben. Welchen Dilemmata stehen sie gegenüber?
