Zusammenfassung
Die Beurteilung von Executives stellt unter mehrfacher Hinsicht eine Herausforderung sowohl für das Unternehmen als auch für die im Prozess beauftragten Berater dar. Für den Assessment-Prozess als auch für die Auswahl der Instrumente hat dies Konsequenzen. In diesem Beitrag wird der Leadership Judgement Indicator (LJI) als ein Instrument vorgestellt, das vor allem die Anforderungen eines Executive Assessments erfüllt. Der LJI ist ein szenarienbasierter SJT, mit dem die Entscheidungs- und Führungsstile einer Führungskraft analysiert werden können. Anhand eines Praxisbeispiels, in dem die Beurteilung der Persönlichkeitsmerkmale für Mitglieder des Oberen Führungskreises einer öffentlichen Bank im Zentrum stand, wird gezeigt, weshalb sich gerade der Einsatz eines SJT für die Zielgruppe des Top-Managements anbietet.
