Zusammenfassung
Wie lassen sich interkulturelle Kompetenzen online vermitteln? Kann erfahrungsbasiertes interkulturelles Training im digitalen Raum gelingen? Diese und ähnliche Fragen stellten sich im Frühjahr 2021 sicherlich nicht nur meine Kolleg:innen und ich bei der InterCultur gGmbH. Durch die Corona-Pandemie mussten wir – wie viele andere Trainer:innen – unsere Arbeit vollständig in den virtuellen Raum verlagern und kreative Lösungen dafür finden, unsere interaktiven, erfahrungsbasierten Trainings online umzusetzen.

„Zoom Fatigue“ bezeichnet allgemein Erschöpfungsgefühle, die Menschen nach der Teilnahme an Videokonferenzen (z. B. via Zoom) empfinden (J. N. Bailenson 2021).
- 2.
Für inklusivere Online-Trainings sollten Trainings so gestaltet werden, dass die aktive Teilnahme auch ohne Kamera möglich ist, da es immer Personen geben kann, denen keine Kamera zur Verfügung steht oder deren Internetverbindung die dauerhafte Nutzung des Videos nicht zulässt.
