Zusammenfassung
Die Markenkommunikation sucht zunehmend direkten Kontakt mit Konsumenten, sei es über soziale Medien (vgl. Bruhn 2015; Jahn/Zanger 2013) oder mithilfe von Live- Kommunikation wie Events (vgl. Zanger/Drengner 2016). Ein weiterer Kanal, der in diesem Zusammenhang zunehmend an Bedeutung gewinnt, ist der stationäre Handel. Obgleich die traditionelle Aufgabe des stationären Handels die Distribution der Produkte ist, eignen sich Ladenumwelten grundsätzlich ebenfalls für den Aufbau und die Stärkung von Marken. Dies trifft insbesondere auf so genannte Flagship und Pop-up Stores zu (vgl. Kozinets et al. 2002; Robertson/Gatignon/Cesareo 2018).
