Zusammenfassung
Der öffentliche Ruf von Finanzberatung, vor allem wenn sie in Banken durchgeführt wird, ist seit Beginn der globalen Finanzkrise anhaltend schlecht (Die große Blamage 2010; Die Blamage geht weiter 2010; Sklaven der Banken 2010). Aktuelle Survey-Studien zur Bereitschaft der Deutschen, in Finanzmarktprodukte zu investieren, bieten indes zurzeit kein einheitliches Bild. Während laut Deutschem Aktien-Institut (Kurzstudie 1/2011) Ende 2010 der Besitz an Aktien und Fondsanteilen deutlich abnahm, kommen andere Studien zu dem Ergebnis, dass Haushalte eher in abwartender Position verharren (Börsch-Supan et al. 2009).
