About the editors
Ji Su Park He received his B.S., M.S. degrees in Computer Science from Korea National Open University, Korea, in 2003, 2005, respectively and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science Education from Korea University, 2013. He is currently a Professor in Dept. of Computer Science and Engineering from Jeonju University in Korea. His research interests are in Mobile grid computing, Mobile cloud computing, Cloud computing, Distributed system, Computer education, and IoT. He is employed as editor-in-chief of KIPS Transactions on Software and Data Engineering and managing editor of Human-centric Computing and Information Sciences (HCIS), the Journal of Information Processing Systems (JIPS). In addition, he has been serving as a Guest Editor for international journals by some publishers: Springer, MDPI, KIPS. He has received “best paper” awards from the CSA2018, BIC2021, CSA2021 conferences and “outstanding service” awards from CUTE2019 and BIC2020. He has also served as the chair, program committee chair or organizing committee chair at several international conferences including World IT Congress, MUE, FutureTech, CSA, CUTE, BIC.
Hiroyuki Takizawa He received B.E. in mechanical engineering, M.S and Ph.D in information science from Tohoku University in 1995, 1997, and 1999, respectively. He is a professor and the deputy director of Cyberscience Center, Tohoku University since 2017 and 2019, respectively. His research interests focus on high performance computing and system architectures, especially programming and runtime systems for high performance computing. He is leading the operation of Supercomputer AOBA, to find and solve pragmatic issues in HPC application development and system operation.
Hong Shen Hong Shen received his BS degree from Beijing University of Science and Technology, MS degree from University of Science and Technology of China, and PhD degree from Abo Akademi University, Finland. He is currently Professor in Macao Polytechnic University, China. He was Professor in Sun Yat-sen University, China, University of Adelaide, Australia, where he was a tenured Professor (Chair of Computer Science) for 15 years, Professor and Chair of Computer Networks Laboratory in Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (JAIST) for 5 years. With main research interests in parallel and distributed computing, privacy preserving computing and high performance networks, he has led numerous research centers and projects in different countries. He has published 400+ papers including over 100 papers in major international journals such as a variety of IEEE and ACM transactions. Prof. Shen received many honors and awards, and served on different roles in professional societies, journal editorial boards and conference committees.
James J. Park James J. (Jong Hyuk) Park received Ph.D. degrees in Graduate School of Information Security from Korea University, Korea and Graduate School of Human Sciences from Waseda University, Japan. From December, 2002 to July, 2007, Dr. Park had been a research scientist of R&D Institute, Hanwha S&C Co., Ltd., Korea. From September, 2007 to August, 2009, He had been a professor at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Kyungnam University, Korea. He is now a professor at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering and Department of Interdisciplinary Bio IT Materials, Seoul National University of Science and Technology (SeoulTech), Korea. Dr. Park has published about 200 research papers in international journals and conferences. He has been serving as chair, program committee, or organizing committee chair for many international conferences and workshops. He is a steering chair of international conferences – MUE, FutureTech, CSA, CUTE, UCAWSN, World IT Congress-Jeju. He is editor-in-chief of Human-centric Computing and Information Sciences (HCIS) by Springer, The Journal of Information Processing Systems (JIPS) by KIPS, and Journal of Convergence (JoC) by KIPS CSWRG. He is Associate Editor / Editor of 14 international journals including JoS, JNCA, SCN, CJ, and so on. In addition, he has been serving as a Guest Editor for international journals by some publishers: Springer, Elsevier, John Wiley, Oxford Univ. press, Emerald, Inderscience, MDPI. He got the best paper awards from ISA-08 and ITCS-11 conferences and the outstanding leadership awards from IEEE HPCC-09, ICA3PP-10, IEE ISPA-11, PDCAT-11, IEEE AINA-15. Furthermore, he got the outstanding research awards from the SeoulTech, 2014. His research interests include IoT, Human-centric Ubiquitous Computing, Information Security, Digital Forensics, Vehicular Cloud Computing, Multimedia Computing, etc. He is a member of the IEEE, IEEE Computer Society, KIPS, and KMMS.
