About the editors
Dr. Vazha Neidze was the Head of Department of Human Geography at the Vakhushti Bagrationi Institute of Geography and a member of the Scientific Board of the Georgian Geographical Society. He was an International Chess Master and FIDE Arbiter.
Dr. Neidze has authored numerous monographs and written over 150 publications. He is the author of several textbooks for V, VI, VII, VIII and IX classes, such as "The World Social-Economic Geography. Textbook for students of H/E Institutions"(Lega, Tbilisi, 2003).
The Georgian Geographical Society awarded the Vakhushti Bagrationi prize to Dr. Vazha Neidze for his joint monograph "Tblisi. Economic-Geographical Research" (P/H sabchota Sakartvelo, Tb. 1989).
