Zusammenfassung
Wir sind gegenwärtig Zeug*innen gewaltiger geopolitischer und europäischer Wandlungsprozesse. Die Verunsicherung ist auch in den Kulturwissenschaften groß bezüglich der Frage, wie man den vielfältigen Dynamiken der kulturellen Diversifizierung, der Multiplizierung der Orientierungen und der Auflösung stabiler kultureller Muster konzeptuell und theoretisch Rechnung tragen kann. In vielen Gesellschaften gibt es die Tendenz, auf Unsicherheit und Änderungsdynamiken mit rückwärtsgewandten, simplifizierenden und populistischen Denkmustern, Slogans und Versprechen zu reagieren.
