Zusammenfassung

Der digitale Wandel und die Medizin 4.0 sind im klinischen Alltag bereits jetzt deutlich spürbar und werden unser Gesundheitssystem in den nächsten Jahren weiter durchgreifend verändern. Immer mehr medizinische Daten werden bereits digital erfasst. Ein bekanntes Beispiel ist die Einführung elektronischer Patientenakten in Arztpraxen und Krankenhäusern als Ersatz für herkömmliche, analoge Papier-Akten. Im häuslichen Umfeld ermöglichen App-basierte Anwendungen auf dem Smartphone (HealthApps) chronisch kranken Patienten eine engmaschigere Überwachung der Therapie und erlauben den Patienten zugleich eine stärkere Einbeziehung in die Behandlung.
