Zusammenfassung
Jugendmedienschutz hat die Aufgabe, Kinder und Jugendliche vor Einflüssen der Erwachsenenwelt, die ihrem Entwicklungsstand noch nicht entsprechen, fern zu halten und sie so bei ihrer Persönlichkeitsentwicklung zu unterstützen. Die Jugendmedienschutzinstitutionen beurteilen Medieninhalte aufgrund ihres Gefährdungs- oder Beeinträchtigungspotenzials und regeln deren öffentliche Verbreitung.
