Zusammenfassung
In diesem Kapitel werden kurz die Struktur und die funktionellen Eigenschaften der Mechanorezeptoren von Haut und Muskeln sowie ihre Empfindlichkeit gegenüber mechanischen Vibrationen beschrieben. Das Kapitel enthält auch einen Überblick über verschiedene Anwendungen, die mit einem Vibrationsgerät durchgeführt werden können, sei es in der Grundlagenforschung zur Untersuchung dieser sensorischen Modalitäten oder in der klinischen Forschung, z. B. zur Umerziehung von Bewegungen oder zur Schmerzlinderung.
