Zusammenfassung
Neben den „klassischen“ ADR-Verfahren findet man in der internationalen Praxis vermehrt innovative Konfliktlösungsmodelle, die verschiedene Verfahren auf unterschiedliche Art und Weise miteinander verknüpfen. Die Kombination erfolgt mit dem Ziel, die Vorteile der jeweiligen Streitbeilegungsinstrumente zusammenzuführen. Aus der Vielzahl der Erscheinungsformen sog. Hybridverfahren greift dieser Beitrag solche, die eine Mediationskomponente aufweisen, heraus und gibt den Leser*innen einen Einblick in ihre Funktionsweise.

Ein Schiedsverfahren kann auf Wunsch der Parteien natürlich auch von einem Mehrparteien-Schiedsgericht durchgeführt werden. Zur Vereinfachung der Darstellung wird in diesem Beitrag jedoch durchgängig auf einen Einzelschiedsrichter Bezug genommen.
