Zusammenfassung
Viele Aspekte von Industrie 4.0 werden erst durch das Internet der Dinge ermöglicht. Daten über Produktionsleistung und -qualität, Betriebszustand etc. können in Echtzeit überwacht, aber auch in die Planung und Steuerung der Produktion einbezogen werden. Die Szenarien zur Nutzung dieser Daten unterscheiden sich in ihrem Integrationsgrad. Jedenfalls sind Big Data Technologien notwendig, um den vollen Nutzen aus den Daten zu gewinnen. Ein solcher Nutzen besteht in der Kopplung der Datenanalyseergebnisse aus dem Internet der Dinge, speziell real-time Analytics, mit den Geschäftsprozessen.
