Announcement

We are pleased to announce that Human Factors and Mechanical Engineering for Defense and Safety has transitioned to Journal of Transformative Technologies and Sustainable Development and will become a fully open access (OA) journal on 1 January 2025. As a result, all submissions received from 3^rd September 2024 are subject to an article publication charge (APC) if accepted and published in the journal (unless a waiver is applied). The Journal of Transformative Technologies and Sustainable Development is an interdisciplinary open-access journal dedicated to advancing both theoretical and practical knowledge related to engineering, technology, management sciences, and sustainability. 

• Focuses on the global implications of technological, managerial, societal, economic, and environmental transformations associated with sustainable development.
• The journal invites original research articles, review papers, case studies, technical notes, and opinion pieces that offer significant insights into transformative technology and sustainable development.
• Contributions should demonstrate methodological rigor, practical relevance, and potential for real-world impact.
• The journal encourages submissions from a variety of disciplinary perspectives to promote a comprehensive understanding of the complex challenges and opportunities at the technology-sustainability nexus, with particular attention to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
