Journal History
Founded in 1960 at the Institute of Plant Genetics of the Polish Academy of Sciences, Poznan, under the title Genetica Polonica, Polish Journal of Genetics and Breeding. In 1995, it was renamed Journal of Applied Genetics (JAG). Since 2011, the Journal of Applied Genetics has been published by Springer.
