Abstract
Evaluation of the cervical spine is a constant problem. This communication deals with the various normal variations and congenital anomalies that are frequently misinterpreted for traumatic lesions. Emphasis is on how to identify these anomalies and how to differentiate them from traumatic injuries of the cervical spine.
