Abstract.
Using variational methods, we prove the existence of infinitely many sub-harmonics for two-dimensional asymptotically linear Hamiltonian systems with at least two periodic orbits, under non-resonance conditions. Such a result is strictly related to a recent result by Franks, proved by completely different methods.
