Zusammenfassung
Die Digitalisierung verändert die Rolle des Controllings bei Corporate Logistics. Es gibt neue Kundenanforderungen an die Informationsverfügbarkeit. Gleichzeitig steigt die Menge und Granularität der zur Verfügung stehenden Daten. Eine zunehmend komplexere und volatilere Umwelt erfordert eine flexible und vorausschauende Planung. Um eine adäquate Entscheidungsunterstützung zu gewährleisten und Kundenbedürfnisse zu befriedigen, bedarf es neuer Methoden, Werkzeuge und Prozesse im Controlling. Maschinelles Lernen, Simulationen und Netzwerkoptimierungen bieten zusätzliche Möglichkeiten um Geschäftsfragen zu beantworten. Dafür ist der Einsatz spezifischer Software-Produkte notwendig. Ebenso müssen die traditionellen Controlling-Prozesse angepasst werden. In diesem Zusammenhang entstehen neue Aufgaben für das Controlling, welches zunehmend in die digitale Produktentwicklung involviert ist.
