Zusammenfassung
Bei der Beschreibung psychischer Belastungen am Arbeitsplatz im Hinblick auf Fehlzeiten ist auch das Thema Mobbing von Bedeutung. Angeregt durch eine populärwissenschaftliche Veröffentlichung von Heinz Leymann wird „Mobbing“ seit Anfang der 90er Jahre in der deutschsprachigen Öffentlichkeit diskutiert, und der Begriff wurde inzwischen in den Duden aufgenommen [1]. Mobbing kann als eine extreme Form sozialer Belastungen oder Stressoren aufgefaßt werden und beinhaltet konflikthafte soziale Beziehungen am Arbeitsplatz [2, 3]. Mobbing läßt sich von sozialen Stressoren durch die Häufigkeit und Dauer von Mobbinghandlungen abgrenzen. Leymann hat für wissenschaftliche Zwecke die Kriterien „mindestens einmal pro Woche“ und „mindestens über sechs Monate“ vorgeschlagen [1]. Vereinzelte Angriffe oder Beleidigungen fallen nicht unter den Mobbingbegriff. Ein weiteres Kriterium ist die Systematik und die Gerichtetheit von negativen Handlungen auf eine einzelne Person, welches mit einem Machtgefälle oder einem sich entwickelnden Machtgefälle einhergeht. Nach und nach gerät die gemobbte Person so in eine immer unterlegenere Position, bis es ihr schließlich unmöglich ist, ohne fremde Hilfe von sich aus den Mobbingprozeß zu beenden und wieder erträgliche Arbeitsbeziehungen zu den Kollegen herzustellen.
