Zusammenfassung
Unter dem Eindruck, dass wir mit der Natur, »von der wir ein Teil sind« (Meyer-Abich, 1997), uns selbst zerstören, wandeln sich die Einstellungen zur Wirtschaft und ihren Institutionen. Es ist bisher erst ein Wandel auf der obersten Abstraktionsebene, im paradigmatischen Denken. Er ist nicht auf den akademischen Raum beschränkt, hat aber die Bereiche der Lehre, der politischen Konzepte und des Alltagshandelns erst am Rande erfasst. Unverkennbar zeigt er ein Bestreben, das menschliche Handeln einem nachhaltigen Umgang mit dem Ganzen der Natur anzunähern. Doch ist es noch keineswegs sicher, dass die neuen Leitbilder sich gegen den Widerstand der alten durchsetzen werden: das Paradigma der Selbstorganisation gegen die rationalistische Vorstellung von der Plan- und Beherrschbarkeit der Realität, die Ökonomie des Raumschiffs Erde gegen das Trugbild von den offenen Grenzen, das kooperative Menschenbild gegen das egozentrische vom Kampf aller gegen alle.
