Abstract
The physics of the Quark Gluon Plasma (QGP) is being actively investigated presently theoretically as well as experimentally. The motivation for this comes from the cosmos as well as from attempts to understand the phase diagram of strongly interacting matter. The universe consisted of quark-gluon plasma during the early stages when the age of the universe was less than a few microseconds.
