Abstract

The best operative results with a success rate of 86.5 percent was obtained by our team in temporal epilepsies4. We decided to investigate those cases where the relief from seizure tendency was only partially achieved. The purpose of this study is a better understanding and an explanation of the partiality of these results. We tried to figure out, as far as general characteristics are concerned, whether there are any differences between this group of patients and the population of operated patients considered as a whole. It should be recalled that this study has not been computerized.
