Zusammenfassung

Zu den rheumatischen Erkrankungen zählen die entzündlichen Gelenkserkrankungen wie die rheumatoide Arthritis, degenerative Gelenkserkrankungen (Arthrose), Weichteilrheumatismus (Erkrankungen an Sehnen oder Schleimhäuten, Myalgien), Knochenerkrankungen und andere Erkrankungen mit Rheumasymptomatik bei endokrinen Erkrankungen wie Diabetes mellitus. Da den degenerativen Gelenkserkrankungen und der Osteoporose jeweils eigene Kapitel dieses Buches gewidmet sind, beschränken wir uns in diesem Kapitel auf die entzündlichen Gelenkserkrankungen — beispielhaft die rheumatoide Arthrits und den Morbus Bechterew.
