Zusammenfassung
Die Brusteingeweide liegen in der Brusthöhle, Cavitas thoracis. Der Raum wird vom knöchern-muskulären Thorax und vom Zwerchfell begrenzt. Durch eine in der Medianebene stehende Bindegewebsplatte, Mediastinum, wird die Brusthöhle in eine linke und rechte Hälfte unterteilt. In ihnen liegen die Lungen, Pulmones.
