Zusammenfassung
Im Zuge der zunehmenden Alterung der Bevölkerung hat auch die Prävalenz von Erkrankungen zugenommen. Die Nachfrage nach Gesundheitsleistungen nimmt daher stetig zu, während der Arbeitskräftemangel vor allem im medizinischen Bereich immer größer wird. Die Digitalisierung im Gesundheitsbereich bietet enorme Möglichkeiten, um den kritischen Engpass in der Gesundheitsversorgung zu adressieren. Durch digitale Werkzeuge und Technologien können Personalressourcen und Kosten bei Anbietenden und Nachfragenden deutlich gesenkt und die Qualität der Gesundheitsversorgung verbessert werden. Um die Vorteile der Digitalisierung im Gesundheitsbereich in vollem Umfang zu nutzen, muss das gesamte Spektrum der Patientenbedürfnisse während seiner gesamten Reise, der Patienten-Journey, abgedeckt und die Angebote müssen kommuniziert werden. Das Patienten-Journey-Mapping ermöglicht es Anwender:innen wie Angehörigen der Gesundheitsberufe, Patient:innen, politischen Entscheidungsträger:innen und Anbieter:innen von Gesundheitslösungen, Technologien zu identifizieren, die zur Unterstützung der Patientenversorgung eingesetzt werden können. Die Patienten-Journey-Map ermöglicht es, den Weg eines Patienten zu visualisieren und gleichzeitig zu verstehen, wo Lücken in der Patientenversorgung bestehen und wie der Patient auf digitalem Wege angesprochen werden kann. In diesem Beitrag entwickeln und diskutieren wir einen neuen Ansatz für das Patienten-Journey-Mapping zur Unterstützung der Argumentation und Entscheidungsfindung darüber, wie technologische Hilfsmittel in den Gesundheitsweg integriert werden können. Der Ansatz ermöglicht eine Argumentation rund um Technologien im digitalen Ökosystem der Patient:innen.
