Abstract
Design Thinking belongs to the group of agile methods whose application promises interesting new accents for development processes and requires certain basic conditions and attitudes (Brown und Katz. Change by design. How design thinking transforms organizations and inspires innovation, Harper Business, 2011). To what extent these conditions are fulfilled at universities and where there are obstacles is the subject of this article. For this purpose, some time after the workshop, ten participants of a Design Thinking Workshop were asked about their experiences and opinions on the use of Design Thinking at universities. The results show that despite the wide range of ideas for the use of this method at universities, some structural obstacles must be taken into account.
