Zusammenfassung
Immer mehr Unternehmen und Organisationen gehen dazu über, Content über sich selbst zu produzieren, um auf dieser Basis eine konsistente Story des Unternehmens und seiner Leistungen zu erzählen und dieses gegenüber relevanten Zielgruppen zu vermarkten. Das Ziel dieses Content Marketings ist es, mit relevanten Stakeholdern in Interaktion zu treten um schlussendlich positive Einstellungen und unterstützendes Verhalten zu generieren. Verschiedene Entwicklungen der vergangenen Jahre, wie der rasante Fortschritt der Informations- und Kommunikationstechnologien, haben diesen Prozess ermöglicht und beschleunigt. Doch das eigenständige Erzählen von Narrativen über eigene Kanäle, birgt Konfliktpotenziale: Mitarbeiter:innen erleben Rollen- und Interessenkonflikte, Unternehmen wirken immer stärker an der Konstitution von Öffentlichkeit mit und die Grenzen zwischen den Formen öffentlicher Kommunikation verschwimmen immer mehr.
