Zusammenfassung
Mobiltelefone haben sich auf der Leinwand ebenso wie im Alltag vom Luxus-Accessoire zum allgegenwärtigen Multifunktionsgerät entwickelt. Der Film verfolgt die medienästhetischen und dramaturgischen Spuren der filmischen Wissensvermittlung um und durch das Mobiltelefon. Die filmhistorische Passage bewegt sich von medienreflexiven Ansätzen bei David Lynch und Brian De Palma über die Spannungsdramaturgie der Scream-Reihe und das Mobiltelefon-Marketing der James Bond-Filme hinein in die Netzwerkstrukturen des Desktop-Cinema.
