Zusammenfassung
Der Relevanz von künstlicher Intelligenz (KI) gerade für Marketing und Vertrieb können und sollten sich Unternehmen nicht entziehen. Bisher liegt der strategische Fokus bei der Nutzung von KI jedoch oft auf der Anwendung relativ isolierter KI-Lösungen, mit denen hauptsächlich Kosteneinsparungen durch eine Verbesserung der Effizienz angestrebt werden. Die Entwicklung ganz neuer Lösungen und Geschäftsmodelle wird dabei oftmals unberücksichtigt gelassen, weil hierfür eine Kombination von KI mit der jeweiligen spezifischen Expertise und menschlichen Intelligenz der Mitarbeiter erforderlich wäre. Im vorliegenden Kapitel wird daher auf das bestehende Konzept der Integrierten Intelligenz zurückgegriffen, um anhand von Beispielen aus jungen und etablierten Unternehmen, d. h. Precire Technologies, Tawny, General Electric und Amazon, Implikationen für Forschung und Praxis zu KI, Marketing, Innovation und nachhaltigen Wettbewerbsvorteilen abzuleiten.
