Zusammenfassung
Künstliche Intelligenz hat in den letzten Jahren stark an Bedeutung gewonnen und gilt als wesentlicher Trend zukünftiger Wirtschafts- und Gesellschaftsentwicklungen. Unternehmen sehen in der Anwendung von KI große Chancen, beispielsweise durch automatisierte Prozesse, die Zeit und Kosten sparen sowie verbesserte Entscheidungen durch die Analyse großer Datenmengen. KI kann auch dazu beitragen, neue Produkte und Dienstleistungen zu entwickeln und die Kundenbindung zu verbessern. Allerdings birgt die zunehmende Verbreitung von KI auch Risiken, wie die Veränderung von Arbeitsplätzen durch Automatisierung und ethische Herausforderungen, die sich z. B. aus der Verarbeitung persönlicher Daten ergeben. Unternehmen müssen daher sorgfältig abwägen, wie sie KI einsetzen, um die Chancen zu nutzen und die Risiken zu minimieren. Eine wichtige Rolle spielt hierbei auch die Investition in Weiterbildung und die Entwicklung von Fähigkeiten, welche die Mitarbeiter fit für die Zukunft machen. Insgesamt ist KI ein wichtiger Treiber für die digitale Transformation und kann Unternehmen helfen, sich erfolgreich an die Herausforderungen der Zukunft anzupassen, wenn sie sorgfältig geplant und umgesetzt wird.

Bloße Wenn-Dann-Reaktionen (Stimulus-Response) erfordern keine Intelligenz, denn die Wirkung bzw. Reaktion auf einen Reiz kann schlicht dualistischer Natur (0/1, ja/nein) sein – ähnlich wie bei einem Lichtschalter, dessen Betätigung das Licht ein- oder ausschaltet. Eine Intelligenz würde dem Lichtschalter vermutlich niemand attestieren, wohl aber vielleicht demjenigen, der ihn aus einem bestimmten Grund bedient. Dieser kombiniert Informationen, die überhaupt erst zur Betätigung des Schalters aufgrund einer elaborierten und damit wahrgenommenen Notwendigkeit führen – also z. B. die Wahrnehmung mit den Augen (Input), dass es dunkel im Zimmer ist und daher Abhilfe durch Anschalten des Lichtes per Schalter geschaffen werden muss. Es erfolgt daher ein Inbezugsetzen von unterschiedlichen Informationen (Verarbeitung) mit dem Ergebnis der Schalterbetätigung (Output).

Aktuelle entwicklungspsychologische Forschungen betonen jedoch auch, dass Menschen bereits vor, v. a. aber auch unmittelbar nach ihrer Geburt zu völlig eigenständigem Lernen im Stande sind (etwa Siegler et al., 2016). Sie werden also bereits seit Beginn der frühesten Entwicklung von einem ‘System’ (Mutter) automatisch für das weitere Lernen vorbereitet und ‘trainiert’. Dieser Lernautomatismus ist bei einer KI (bisher) nicht gegeben, sondern das Lernen erfolgt erst mit intendierter Bereitstellung von Trainingsdaten.
