Zusammenfassung
Events stehen aufgrund zahlreicher positiver Wirkungen auch in Zeiten des E-Commerce hoch in der Gunst von Marketingverantwortlichen. Auf Konsumenten- bzw. Eventteilnehmer strömen auf Events neben anderen sensorischen Eindrücken vor allem multiple haptische Reize ein, die von Unternehmen gezielt ausgestaltet werden können, um marken- und produktbezogene Wahrnehmungs- und Beurteilungsprozesse zu lenken. Haptische Informationen gehen insbesondere 1) vom Eventsetting (z. B. haptische Eindrücke der Location), 2) den Mitarbeitern (z. B. Berührungen der Teilnehmer) und 3) den inszenierten Produkten (z. B. durch haptische Exploration) aus. Bei einer erfolgreichen haptischen Eventkonzeption und -umsetzung ist es relevant, die haptischen Wahrnehmungs- und Beurteilungsprozesse der Teilnehmer zu verstehen und das Eventmanagement aus einer haptischen Perspektive ganzheitlich zu betrachten.
