Zusammenfassung
Menschen sind in ihrem Alltag und in nahezu allen Lebensbereichen von einer Vielzahl von Medien umgeben. Ihr soziales Handeln ist häufig soziales Medienhandeln, ob mittels sozialer Netzwerke, Smartphone oder sogar Social Robots: Die Bedeutung von Medien entfaltet sich dabei in den zwischenmenschlichen Beziehungen und in den sozialen Gruppen, in Organisationen und im öffentlichen Raum. Anliegen dieses Bandes ist es, Phänomene sozialen Medienhandelns umfassend zu analysieren und den damit verbundenen sozialen Wandel nachhaltig zu verstehen.
