Die Integration von Flüchtlingen in kleine und mittlere Unternehmen (KMU) – Fallbeispiele aus der Praxis

Zusammenfassung

Unsere Gesellschaft steht vor der Aufgabe, Flüchtlinge, die in Deutschland eine neue Heimat suchen, bestmöglich zu integrieren – auch in den Arbeitsmarkt. Das vorliegende Kapitel beschäftigt sich mit der Integration von Flüchtlingen in kleine und mittlere Unternehmen (KMU). Wir gehen der Frage nach, warum sich KMU dafür entscheiden, Flüchtlinge in ihr Unternehmen zu integrieren, welche Chancen sie darin sehen, welche Herausforderungen die Integration mit sich bringt und was aus Sicht der Unternehmensleitung Erfolgsfaktoren einer gelungenen Integration sind. Die Ergebnisse zeigen: eine gelungene Integration wird durch ein Zusammenspiel aus dem individuellen Engagement der Flüchtlinge, der Akzeptanz und Unterstützung von Geschäftsführung und Belegschaft sowie klaren, verlässlichen institutionellen Rahmenbedingungen ermöglicht.

Abstract

With the increasing number of refugees seeking protection and a new home in Germany, our society faces the task of optimally integrating those refugees. This includes integration into the labor market. This chapter deals with the integration of refugees into small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). We explore why SMEs choose to integrate refugees into their business, what opportunities they see in it, what challenges integration brings, and what management considers as success factors of a successful integration. The results show that a successful integration is based on a combination of the individual commitment of the refugees, the acceptance and support of the management and workforce in the company as well as clear, reliable institutional framework conditions.
