Zusammenfassung
Der Begriff soziales Netzwerk bezieht sich auf das Geflecht (bzw. die Struktur) von Beziehungen. Die Untersuchung der Struktur sozialer Netzwerke findet in der Netzwerkforschung als Analyse sozialer Netzwerke (social network analysis) statt. Der Begriff des sozialen Netzwerkes wird in vielfältigen Zusammenhängen gebraucht – oft mit inhaltlichem Impetus oder mit metaphorischer Zielsetzung.
