Zusammenfassung
In dem Beitrag werden ausführlich die so genannten Gemeinschaftskonferenzen und andere Restorative Conferencing-Verfahren behandelt. Er informiert über die Grundlagen des Conferencing und macht deutlich, dass es sich bei diesen Verfahren im Grunde zwar durchaus um Formen der Mediation handelt, dass aber im Kontext der Restorative Conferencing-Verfahren der Dimension der Gemeinschaft eine deutlich größere Bedeutung zukommt. Dies verdeutlicht der Autor an konkreten Fallbeispielen und fragt abschließend anhand ausgewählter Kriterien danach, wie diese Verfahren des Conferencing im Vergleich mit individualisierten Mediationsverfahren, vor allem aber auch im Vergleich mit Konfliktbearbeitungen durch das Strafrechtssystem (auch mit Blick auf „Gesundheit“) zu bewerten sind.
