Zusammenfassung
Grundlage des Beitrags ist die konzeptionelle Aufarbeitung des Themas Cross-Selling und eine Bestandsaufnahme der relevanten Literatur. Der Beitrag untersucht anbieterbezogene Einflussfaktoren des Cross-Selling-Erfolgs sowie dessen Auswirkung auf den Unternehmenserfolg. Auf branchenübergreifender empirischer Basis wird nachgewiesen, dass die Breite des Produktprogramms eines Anbieters, die Häufigkeit des Kontakts zwischen Kunden und Vertriebsmitarbeitern, die Nutzung kundenbezogener Informationen, die Kundenorientierung des Informationssystems, des Anreizsystems, der Vertriebsmitarbeiter sowie der Unternehmenskultur den Cross-Selling-Erfolg fördern. Zudem wird gezeigt, dass sich der Cross-Selling-Erfolg positiv auf den wirtschaftlichen Erfolg auswirkt.
