Abstract
Interactions of millimeter waves with living systems are believed to occur primarily on a subcellular or cellular level. Although most of the evidence that biological systems can be altered by low intensity electromagnetic fields is available primarily below 30 GHz, studies from the USSR and Eastern Europe (1,2) have indicated that above 30 GHz there are frequency dependent biological effects suggestive of resonance phenomena.
