Zusammenfassung
Die Sensortechnik stellt eine Schlüsseltechnologie für mobile Roboter und insbesondere für Serviceroboter [Schraft93] dar, bei denen besondere Anforderungen an die sensorische Erfassung einer a-priori unbekannten und unstrukturierten Umgebung gestellt werden. Diesen Anforderungen wird durch eine Kombination mehrerer zum Teil unterschiedlicher Sensoren entsprochen. Der Entwurf dieser Multisensorsysteme zeichnet sich durch eine hohe Komplexität aus, einerseits aufgrund der hohen Anzahl von Kombinationsmöglichkeiten der Sensoren und andererseits aufgrund der Vielzahl von unterschiedlichen möglichen räumlichen Anordnungen.
